Anyone feel like coffee?

Soooo…anyone feel like getting a coffee? And while you’re at it I guess you might as well get a tattoo or maybe a piercing…I mean, its not such a big leap from getting a coffee to getting a tattoo or a piercing right? I wonder if this is Israel’s answer to Starbucks? *g*

Has anyone ever seen an uglier city hall ?!?!

Ok people, this is the Tel Aviv city hall….*speechless* I have no idea what went wrong here…how can a city be so cool and have such a fugly city hall?!?

And no this is not some random building, this is really the actual city hall where Yitzhak Rabin held his last speech on the blue stage bit at a peace rally gathered on the square before he got killed.

ps: well ok, its apparently under construction…but still…this is a lame excuse for a city hall

This has to be the only country in the world where you sit on the beach enjoying a cold beer, a pretty sunset, there’s music all around you, children and dogs playing on the beach, people doing yoga, tai chi & meditation on the beach, guys playing matkot…and…there’s military helicopters flying overhead. You can’t see them too well but they’re flying to their shift in Gaza. Its the schizophrenic aspect of this country where you feel like you’ve landed in paradise and then things like this give you a shock back to a reality you will experience no where else.
